Lovely Amazing EARTH
I couldn't let Earth Day go by without a special card. Thanks to the gorgeous image of our Earth from The Open Sea stamp set and the mask from the Hooray It's Your Day Simply Created kit, it came together quickly.
Doesn't the sentiment from the Lovely Amazing You stamp set go beautifully with the Little Letters Thinlits?
I've entered my card in the Addicted to Stamps and More "Anything Goes" challenge.
I've also entered my card in the rainbow challenge at the Time Out Challenges.
And finally, I've entered my card in the Make My Monday Challenge for Earth Day.

Totally brilliant Heidi! Very imaginative (I wouldn't expect anything less) and I'm sure Mother Nature and the God and the angels are grinning along with me.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing cool Earth Day projects and posts since my late husband and I celebrated Earth Day from it's very beginnings. Of course it didn't hurt that it was also Steve's birthday! 1970 was a very good year (though he and I didn't meet for another 8 years after that). That was also the year of his much beloved Datsun wagon that we did all our Earth Day projects with (recycling, beach clean up, etc) and our camping and backpacking adventures. So many good memories...and now I can add one more...you and your wonderful card. Thanks for sharing the love of our Earth Miss Heidi!
Thanks, Jean. I love the earth stamp from The Open Sea. I'm one of those people who saw a couple of cards, hunted up the name of the set which wasn't in any catalogue when I began with SU! and found it listed in the Stampin' Up! store. The year after I bought it, the stamp was in the new Annual Catalogue and it's still around. Serendipidous. I love your story about Earth Day and am glad it has so many good memories for you. I wish more people would become concerned and protective of our planet. It's kind of important, after all.
