The way things turned ...Thanks so much, Priscilla. The way things turned out last week, I had so many interruptions and obstacles, I almost thought I wouldn't make my post in time for launch. A first for me because I've not missed one post since we began this hop. But things did work out. I think I'm happier with the Timeless Textures stamping than I would have been with the DSP (which arrived on Friday, by the way). It's more in keeping with the size of the house, I think. So things work out, despite the way it can seem at times. I'm happy with the results now that I have time to actually breathe and see what I created.Heidi Weaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05419041098621498364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1635210224338635842.post-28658099874136193602016-09-17T10:26:37.708-06:002016-09-17T10:26:37.708-06:00Oh, Heidi, once again, you've got my head swim...Oh, Heidi, once again, you've got my head swimming with ideas. Your gingerbread man bag is adorable with that tag, and I love your snowman card, mixing it up with the beautiful, magical star - and Emerald Envy! But your little house put it over the top! Your use of Timeless Textures was brilliant, and the mix of all the supplies, framelits and stamps came together into a masterpiece. Definitely a keeper for many years. Thanks so much for the inspiration...AGAIN!Stampin' Amigoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13748792994406078259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1635210224338635842.post-89442685199557456632016-09-16T13:07:43.297-06:002016-09-16T13:07:43.297-06:00Thanks, Christine. Whether it retires with this catalogue or not, I see many, many styles of houses being created for many years to come. Can't you just see a little Valentine's house filled with sweets? I've begun to work hard to mix stamp sets and bundles together. People want to get ideas to take them to the next level so that they can justify their purchases.Heidi Weaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05419041098621498364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1635210224338635842.post-31055803180957240652016-09-16T13:04:48.779-06:002016-09-16T13:04:48.779-06:00Thanks, Fiona. I find it also helps show people that most of our products are not just "stand-alone" sets.Heidi Weaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05419041098621498364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1635210224338635842.post-84141901888628848522016-09-16T11:50:05.476-06:002016-09-16T11:50:05.476-06:00Thanks so much, Jan. I can imagine how much fun I'll have making it dazzle for Christmas and, of course, there will be Valentine's and Easter, too. I love it when I have tools that can be used for a long time.Heidi Weaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05419041098621498364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1635210224338635842.post-70516530482259300202016-09-16T04:30:25.305-06:002016-09-16T04:30:25.305-06:00Oh my gosh, Heidi, these projects awesome. Another must to my order. <br />Your use of more than one set on a card is inspiring. Your snowman card is so elegant too and although we don't really celebrate Halloween here in Australia, I love the many details you've added to your spooky house! So clever!! Thanks so much for inviting me to join in the fun this month :-)Janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15887818411384446895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1635210224338635842.post-20544393520284684102016-09-15T23:42:01.387-06:002016-09-15T23:42:01.387-06:00Thanks so much, Libby. I despaired of ever finishing it. But in the end I really like every single element I've added and can't say I'd change a thing. I love it when that happens.Heidi Weaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05419041098621498364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1635210224338635842.post-66729534915438650372016-09-15T23:37:38.850-06:002016-09-15T23:37:38.850-06:00Thanks so much, Penny. I've been going crazy,...Thanks so much, Penny. I've been going crazy, re-organizing and downsizing my crafting supplies. I have far too much, especially retired product. But this is why (and how) I came across the Gift Bag Punch which I had all but forgotten. I have to stop accumulating more and more and begin using and enjoying what I've already got. Maybe I have to stop looking at new catalogues. You're surely welcome to CASE anything you like with my blessings. I wanted to use a green that was unlike my "normal" Christmas greens and really do like the Emerald Envy more than I thought I would. I also "found" my Dazzling Diamonds glitter and used it after neglecting it for over a year and a half. Funny about that pattern I stamped on the cardstock for the haunted house---I like it more than the Hallowe'en DSP. It's a better size of pattern for the size of the house and works very well. Strange how that happens, isn't it?Heidi Weaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05419041098621498364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1635210224338635842.post-29719219694922843812016-09-15T22:10:50.545-06:002016-09-15T22:10:50.545-06:00I love your projects Heidi! I really love the Cookie Cutter DSP bag and it's fun tag. Your note was a great reminder to get out some of my forgotten tools like the Gift Box punch too. I'd like to CASE your second project. I love the Emerald Envy paired up with the Whisper White and that stamp set. Very Christmassy. And finally, your Halloween Haunted house is just fabulous. I like how you improvised and stamped the paper with the Timeless Textures. Wow! Thanks for sharing Heidi and leading this hop!
